New life for Świętokrzyskie attractions. We know when the grand opening is

After many years of painstaking work on securing and renovating the historic building, the castle in Ćmielów will welcome visitors again. As reported by propertydesign.pl, the facility, which had been in disrepair for years, was saved from further degradation and prepared to serve as a modern tourist attraction, open to guests from all over the country.

In the 15th century, the residence in Ćmielów was built by Krzysztof Szydłowiecki. Today, the monument is coming back to life as a museum space, where multimedia exhibitions are to be presented against the background of preserved historical interiors. The creators of the new version of the castle announce that it will be a place that will allow you to learn about the history of the region in direct contact with centuries-old architecture.

According to the local website Echo Dnia, the opening of the Castle in Ćmielów will take place on Sunday, May 24 and will be combined with a number of outdoor events. The facility is planned to include, among others: fair, knight fight shows and workshops on ancient professions, which are intended to present the realities of life in past centuries.

One of the main points of the program is to be the staging of the ceremonial entry of King Sigismund the Old and Queen Bona. The organizers are also preparing a reconstruction of the Battle of Orsha in 1514. Thanks to this, the revitalized castle will turn into a scene of living history for one day, attracting fans of historical reconstructions from various parts of Poland.

The owners of the facility are Anna and Tadeusz Zarębscy, who have been involved in saving the castle for years. According to the announcement, the castle in Ćmielów is to serve as a meeting and educational place, as well as a space where visitors will be able to directly experience the history of the Świętokrzyskie region.

The revitalized castle is indicated as potentially one of the region’s greatest tourist attractions. It is to become a magnet for tourists from all over Poland.
