The Enter Air fleet has expanded with another Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. The machine with registration SP-EXM has landed at Warsaw Chopin Airport and is already being prepared for regular commercial operations. This is the 12th Boeing 737 MAX 8 and the 37th Boeing 737 in the history of the Polish charter carrier.
The new plane arrived in Poland from Seattle Boeing Field with a stopover in Stavanger, Norway. The takeover flight was operated by Enter Air pilots.
The new plane will join the fleet before the holiday season
As the carrier emphasizes, the delivery of another machine is part of the strategy of fleet development and increasing operational capabilities implemented for several years before the peak tourist season.
– The acceptance of the SP-EXM aircraft is the result of the involvement of many people from the entire organization – from pilots, through the technical and operational departments, to mechanics responsible for preparing the machine for operation – says Konrad Dymowski, member of the management board and technical director of Enter Air.
After arriving in Warsaw, the plane underwent final technical and operational preparations, including the installation of passenger seats.
First cruise to Cyprus
The new Boeing is scheduled to begin regular commercial operations on May 16. The first flight was planned on the route from Poland to Larnaca in Cyprus.
According to Enter Air, the next delivery of the aircraft is to strengthen the carrier’s position on the European charter flight market and increase operational flexibility in the summer season.
– The twelfth MAX in our fleet is another step in building a strong and modern position of Enter Air on the European market of private carriers – adds Konrad Dymowski.
Boeing 737 MAX 8 is the basis for fleet development
The Boeing 737 MAX 8 is currently one of the most popular narrow-body aircraft used by airlines and charter carriers. The machine offers lower fuel consumption and reduced CO₂ emissions compared to earlier generations of Boeing 737s.
For carriers developing a network of tourist connections, this means the opportunity to reduce operating costs while increasing fleet efficiency.
Enter Air is one of the largest private charter airlines in Central and Eastern Europe and operates connections mainly for tour operators. The expansion of the fleet before the summer season is intended to help the carrier handle the growing tourist traffic from Poland and the region.
